Here are some ideas to entertain your children during your next family trip to Marrakech:

Visit the main square Jemaa el Fna: In the heart of the medina you will find the main square  Jemaa el-Fna which is as a huge open-air theater. I suggest you get there after 6pm because this is  where the animation begins. You will come across the snake charmers, monkey trainers, water  carriers and musicians.

Stroll through the souks: Let your children discover the colorful and noisy souks of the Medina, perhaps the most fascinating ever known. Here thousand small businesses come together, the basket weavers, wood turners, blacksmiths, shoemakers, who produce the famous slippers. As with all crowded places avoid taking a stroller and use a body baby carrier instead

Have your kids do a camel ride : a classic with a guaranteed success with children. You will find some in the Palmeraie. It is recommended to bargain the ride price on the spot, it will cost you much less than via the hotel.

Visit the Jardin Majorelle : You’ll find more than 300 species of plants from all over the world, including cacti, bougainvillea and palms.
